Orange Skye Body and Beauty Bar
In The News
Middletown, NJ, and Sheridan, CO (PRWeb) July 16, 2007 -- Mayor
Gerald Scharfenberger's coming to officially
cut the ribbon. So is the founder of the company, Linda Dillon of
Colorado. With the finishing touches being put
on a completely renovated 100-year-old colonial landmark home, soon
to be the first full service affordable spa in
the shoreline resort community of Middletown, New Jersey, Maggie
Paterno is transforming more than a
building…she's transforming an entire community into a healthier way
of thinking and living. On Friday, July
27th at 3:30 p.m., she opens her newly remodeled doors for a
historic grand opening located at 254 Highway 35
South. The building, renamed "Lilly" is another entrepreneurial
venture of Orange Skye Body and Beauty Bar.
"When I heard the Mayor was an art history major and archeology
professor at Brookdale College, I thought he
would have an interest in the architecture, history and redesign of
this property that will bring new business to the
neighborhood, so I invited him and he very graciously accepted,"
said Maggie.
The neighborhood hasn't been the same since Maggie moved in. In the
past year and half, she's talked to
everyone, and everyone's getting involved. Doctors, florists ... the
organic catering manager at Whole Foods, and
four area boutique hotels that don't offer spa services directly.
Maggie is hoping to partner with these hotels in
providing a concierge car service for hotel guests to her nearby day
spa for a half or full day of health and
wellness treatments. And what treatments they'll be. Instead of
'eating' calorie-rich chocolate, guests can be
'wrapped' in Moor mud and detoxifying salts that comes complete with
a warm shower and finished with a
decadent body nourishing chocolate oil massage. The benefits of
citrus are also part of the massage menu with a
mandarin honey scrub packed with Vitamin C oil and offer anti-aging
benefits to the skin. And that's not all.
Couples can enjoy a 'Retreat for Deux", men's services include a
restorative sports pedicure for the abusive athlete
and full skincare line for both men and women of refreshing
treatments. Maggie's even added a holistic on-site
nutritionist and planning monthly wellness seminars with a local
chiropractor. A complimentary glass of wine or
champagne will be flowing in the spirit of Orange Skye's boldly
painted orange spa makeover.
"People are constantly stopping, taking pictures, and thanking me
for turning an old rickety building into a
homey place where people can come and be pampered inside and out,"
says Maggie. "Converted bedrooms are
now six full treatment rooms, the sunroom is an airbrush tanning
salon, and it's a very comfortable environment
that men as well as women can enjoy, but to tell you the truth, I
couldn't have done it without Linda and the
Orange Skye support staff. She is the visionary behind it all and
they have been my partner every step of the
way."
Orange Skye is part of a unique business opportunity created five
years ago by another entrepreneur, Linda
Dillon, who headquarters the growing operation in Sheridan,
Colorado. "I've been to hundreds of spas and I felt
they were missing the boat by catering to the upscale clientele when
in today's hectic, stressful world, a good
massage, facial or body treatment is no longer a luxury, but an
important part of how people feel about themselves
and that should be an affordable part of everyone's life," says
Linda. Maggie agrees. "After doing a lot of internet research, I
found Orange Skye to be the most affordable and training-support
driven business opportunity out there, but even more exciting, it
matches my philosophy of what a spa should be like, plus, I'll have
the freedom to do it my way, like give the guys a complimentary
beer!"
The Grand Opening package specials are all 20% through September 1st
and range from Queen for a Day to
Dad's Day Off, His and Her Employee of the Month treats, and three
different romantic date retreats for couples
to enjoy at the same time.
Now, that's living the spa life, Maggie's way.
